Greetings!
Hello! My name is Firdouss Ross (call me Ross please)
I am a Web Designer. Specializing in front-end, user interface designs.
On other time, I do photography, listen to music and immerse myself in a lot of geek and gadget stuffs. I tweet as well. Once in a blue moon, I will write some tutorials and guides on this blog.
What Can I Do
I have deep interest in XHTML, CSS and modern web application designs. I am more towards the front-end aspect, so user interface, usability and accessibility is my utmost interest.
I can code very well in XHTML and CSS, with ample knowledge in Javascript libraries such as jQuery. I can make some magic with AJAX.
I can design Web Sites, Flyers, Logo and also perform post-processing on photographs.
My Affairs
I am a co-founder and lead coder for Kucing Kelabu Designs.
Our aim is to make the web a better place, by improving usability and making the web pleasing to the eyes. We love challenge.
Previous Engagements
I used to work with Hewlett-Packard for 3 years as a Manager for Outsourcing Services, specializing in Unix Level 1 and Unix Level 2 support teams. I leave this company to pursue my dream of working with awesome group of people, producing products and ideas that are never before being done.
I studied in Multimedia University (2000-2005), in Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons.) majoring in Data Communications.
A little history about Firdouss.com
Firdouss.com was originally a blog where I share and preserve knowledge and information. By “preserve” I meant something that I would want to rediscover every now and then. At times I have some knowledge that I will forgot over time, so this place would be one way that I would preserve it. It’s two folds – preserve my own knowledge, and share it to the world.
