Nokia Maps Navigation is now Free, Forever!

Good news to Nokia Smartphone users! Nokia just announced that the OVI Maps (previously called Nokia Maps) now comes with FREE Navigation feature, forever. Previously, one had to pay a monthly, quarterly or yearly subscription fee in order to have the navigation feature (the map is free though).

I guess Nokia is trying to keep up with the competition, like Google Navigation, which is available to most Android devices, and it’s also coming to iPhone pretty soon. Good work, Nokia!
