Counting Hearts
I sat down, on my new desk, and I count hearts.
There’s 8 from this bunch.
But then, I keep on stumbling to more and more of them.
There’s more than 16 now, and counting. At times we just don’t see the hearts around, not until it’s crumpled, torn or broken. No, more like, most of the time we do not see these extra hearts.
All these hearts are given to me. How I wish I can just press rewind for a short while, so I can get more.
I continue counting hearts. I really miss you.
