IE6Update.com – Help Kill Internet Explorer 6
For Windows users (pre-Vista), IE6 (Microsoft Internet Explorer) is nothing but an imbecile. A browser that seems to crash on any website that demands a little bit more than normal surfing, GMail doesn’t even work fully in IE6, facebook makes it hang, and virus loves to attach itself to it.
For web developers, IE6 is a totally different world. It’s the one more torture way below what we have grown up to understand to be Hell. In other words, if you have a broken down relationship because your partner cheated on you and sleep with your best friend, and then discovering that your dad and your grand father is gay, and that your mom had a fling with your fiance’s ex-boyfriend, while driving up the LDP at 7:00am, and your car was rammed from the back by a high-speed steamroller, IE6 is wayyyyy worse than that.
So today I’ve discovered an effort, you web/blog owners out there can participate to help weed out the usage of IE6 (which, frighteningly still high in percentage, thanks to ignorance) by fooling these idiots to upgrade their browser.
Ladies and gentlemen, I bring forth – ie6update.com:
Basically what you need to do is to install a small code snippet given in the website above into your website, and whenever a visitor that uses IE6 visits your site, they will get a reminder to upgrade their browser. Some people can be as gullible as “download the new Internet today”. The internet is full of surprises!

I still need it to test out my website’s look and feel there. I guess there are still some people using it. No offend but yeah…I hate IE, even the 8. http://unitybond.blogspot.com
