2008 In A Glance

2008 is ending in about 24 hours from now. This is a very long year for me, both personally and professionally. This blog haven’t been having much changes (except a few template refreshes).

2008 at a glance : Fird’s Domain

Been a good year, I got two payment from Google for serving their AdSense advertisements. Enough to cover this domain hosting for 2 more years, that’s right, its funded till 2011 now! – click here if you’re interested to know how to do this.
This blog is starting to head to slightly less private, and more professional. That means, a lot of ranting, personal posts have been marked as private, some are deleted altogether.
I manage to dig up my lost posts (mostly personal anyway) from The Internet Wayback Machine and uploaded them into this blog (you can see there’s now posts from 2004, previously I only have one dated as far as 2005).
JPJ Putrajaya and JPJ Putrajaya Map is still the top keyword that hits this blog, thanks to my ranting post about JPJ, and a follow up “How to get to JPJ Putrajaya” post. This blog appears as first item in Google for the keyword “jpj putrajaya” for quite a while.
I’ve gone Pink, in an attempt to “get out of my comfort zone” (else it’ll be blue, black or white again).

2008 at a glance : Professional

Kucing Kelabu Design is finally launched, after two years!
I become one of the photographers and shot 2 weddings officially, and 1 as a guest photographer. I’m trying to get serious on this one, but my commitment to my full-time job is somewhat hindering. Right now, I’m more focused on building up my portfolio. I know I have a long way to go. You can have a look of some of the photos in my Photographs page.
Speaking about full-time job, I’m handling more projects in 2008, and performance have been steady so far. A lot of attrition and new hires to handle. Drives me crazy sometimes!
I’m now available for design implementation (from source file (Photoshop, etc) to XHTML/CSS codes and implement them on your website. Right now, I’m affiliated with Avalon Communications and MafinSoft. Contact me for a quote.

I guess some of you guys already know what happened recently, it’s hard to endure, I don’t know if I can get over it. I’ll try though! Thank you for your support!
A lot of resolve and character rebuilding process have been happening to me this 2008. All for the better!

Unfortunately, there are too many things that happened to me, my career and this blog for the whole of 2008, but I don’t think I am comfortable to share them here. Those who knows me really closely, you guys should know what have been happening this year.

Once again, I thank all of you for your unconditional, unlimited support. May 2009 bring us better life and career goals!
