QuickTip: Organize that mouse cable!
If you’re using a notebook with the USB ports intelligently designed to be very close to the edge on the right side, you might face an annoying problem where the mouse USB cable will always get in the way when you plug it in, like this:
(In my case, I don’t really have the option to use the USB ports on the left, because the cable is short!)
There is, however, a very simple way to fix this (it’s free too!):

Sometimes the simplest answer is always there, but we just shrug it off as uncreative. Reminds me of the story when American astronauts had to spend USD20K on a bottle of special ink where it can be used to write in space, where Russian cosmonauts solved the entire problem with… pencils.
