First of all, I’m sorry if I seemed to offend anyone that are living, developing, managing or maintaining Cyberia “Smart Homes” Condominium in Cyberjaya.

I have been living in these apartments close to two and a half years now, and it seems to me that there is a certain trend of annoyance on every year. It started with loud cheering, dancing, jamming and speaker-blasting event on every night back in 2006 that runs up to 2007. I don’t care if you want to party or showing off your new speaker system, but please, living in a relatively dense population area is different than living in your own bungalow somewhere in the dessert. The residence here seems to have the least amount of respect of all the places that I’ve been staying in.

In 2007, comes the era of “war zone” in Cyberia. There are some culprits who keep on detonating loud firecrackers in the parking lot, with some seems to take Counter-Strike too seriously, throw it out of their balcony onto the parking lot. I’m sure I would have died if I have a heart problem by now. Imagine you’re coming back from a long day, sipping your warm coffee watching a nice movie with your loved ones, and then BAM! a spine-shivering explosion comes from the parking lot – followed by a few more distressed residence who shouts profanity due to the shock.

2008 marks the year of retarded residence who throws almost everything out of the window. You name it – empty beer bottles, used instant noodle packets, empty Secret Recipe cake boxes, stale curry, empty cans, even flower pots! Somehow these individuals doesn’t understand the concept of using a trash bin. It’s okay to have someone killed downstairs rather than throwing the bottle in your own bin, so your house is not dirty, eh?

To make it worse, the security officials and the management does not seem to be doing anything much regarding these incidents – all they seemed to care is their parking stickers are updated, their entry cards are purchased, and all the illegal parkers are clamped so they can get the fine. Speaking of the management, they seemed to change either the company name or the outsourced service providers every month – who seems to come up with their own security system, their own parking system and everything of their own (not to mention rising water cost every year). Your customer service is terrible. I felt very unwanted everytime I go to the site office to request for some service.

If you’re visiting friends here – be warned that you might run into a mindlessly-parked cars right in the middle of the junction. It’s seems like a hot trend now, that whoever waiting for their friends would park right in the middle of an interchange, entrance or exit without considering other drivers. Of course – it’s their car, they have the right, so-called.

I don’t mean to discriminate – but from observation, all the idiots who seems to be doing all these mindless act are all from one particular region of the world – I guess where there are a lot of lands, bombs and there are no roads.

On the good note, I’m moving out of this retarded place next week, and even though I’m going to miss the breeze and view from this place, I wouldn’t feel so bad when it comes to the retarded residents around. I know they are done by only a small number of people, but these inconsiderate bunch have made living here unbearable.
