Good, Free and Powerful MS Paint Replacement
I’m sure a lot of people are pretty sick of using MS Paint to process basic images – most of us that is using corporate PC’s are restricted in the options to install our own software – especially those that are of questionable origin.
I don’t know about others, but I’m for one, is not a big fan of GiMP. At least not on Windows platform. Let me introduce you to a small, viable, free and powerful image editing application, called *cough* Paint.NET
Compare this:

To This:

Paint.NET is comes with impressive amount of features, given it’s small 1.6MB download footprint. This is a must for those who don’t want to bother paying huge money for popular applications (Adobe Photoshop, Corel, etc) and only use the basic features.
Some of the handy features includes – Noise Reduction, handful of Filters for you to mess around with. Layer support, not to mention pretty GUI too!
Give it a shot – Paint.NET!

I actually did while I was at my mom’s office many months ago and I must say that I was please with it. :)
It’s duck-to-the-water kind of experience, and navigating around wasn’t awkward.
Nice.
Fird: Yeah! It doesn’t take much learning curve. Everything is pretty direct and presented beautifully. Kudos to the developer!
Sounds nifty and stuff..but I just wanna know.
Can I resize images using this and not screw it up (like mspaint)?
Fird: Yep of course. This app will resize it properly – it is actually a full fledged image editing app!
