Mawi-ism?

Prologue
(this isn’t a short story nor a beginning of a long novel, I’m not much of a writer to write such things, I don’t express much by writing anyways! – Just that I think this post needs a prologue)

I don’t watch much of TVs, I don’t know, I’m not a big fan of them. So technically all those TV-Junkies phenomenon that happens everywhere won’t affect me much. But sometimes, I do feel left out a little bit when people talks about some show or something interesting and I have no freaking idea what they’re talking about. I do enjoy movies though.

-End Prologue-

So what happened? Well, I was taking my usual 11.00pm ‘dinner’ break, and usually Niki will take care of the counter on my behalf. How nice of him :p So anyways, since lately my favorite restaurants loves to close around 10 (I have no real idea why they do that), I have to go to the 24-Hours ‘Mamak’ restaurant called ‘Osman’. I arrived there, seeing its overloaded with people. More than usual and the people comes in large groups.

“Must be football again tonight, wonder who vs who”

I take a seat, only to realize that it’s not football being shown on the mamak’s 50″ Projection-TV. It’s some sort of finals for the Akademi Fantasia, season 3 (more info). Honestly, I’m not really a big fan of these reality shows, except maybe The Apprentice and ________ Idol (fill in the blank with any country). And my guess was right, these whole crowd cheers when they announce the name Mawi (this is him).

If you’re passing by, you probably thought the mamak is organizing a show!

Oh and I’m not really a big fan of him. Just that I find these thing called “Mawism” is a little bit too much, that it annoys me sometimes. When my friend cut his hair ala GI, they call him impersonating Mawi. Mawi here and Mawi there on magazines.

“Give it a few weeks. It’ll go away” my mind said

“But aren’t you annoyed?” my heart say

“Why would you care much about it” said the mind

True. Why the hell I’m blogging about him anyways?

I must be bored.
