KL Trip
I went up to KL yesterday to get my DVD+RW drive (Yes! I have finally joined the DVD Writer revolution!), along with my housemate Shaz and our friend Shah. Nothing really interesting about our trip to KL, other than a good treat by Otter (well, he drove us around, pick us up, send us back to the bus station, etc). The whole DVD Writer and media fetching thingies is actually like 5 minutes! The rest of the time, we are running around LowYat’s 3rd floor and Time Square.
And of course, Malaysia’s very interesting view – people all over the place jaywalks like crazy. Its a funny sight, and I laughed at Otter coz he was approached by a Pantene representative, to try their shampoo, that supposedly to prevent or lessen the effect of hair falling and balding.
The trip back to Melaka was pretty bad. Well, we booked for 4pm bus, but we missed it (we’re stuck in traffic jam). So we tried for earliest bus (it was about 4.30pm that time) and we only managed to get ourselves 6pm bus. We are a little lucky tho, because we managed to board the 5.45 pm bus which is empty. However, the aircond in the bus is way uncontrollable so we are frozen to half-dead in the 150-minute trip to Melaka. It was raining, and it is weekend, so the highway from KL-Seremban is packed with cars, forming what they call “Traffic Police Officer’s favorite bread spread, a.k.a Traffic Jam”.
Thank god my drive works perfectly. I have emptied 20+ GB since last night. Hehe.
